It's December!!Get's me excited for Christmas break which seems like it's dragging! It's not exactly working with me! But in the Christmas spirit we put up all our Christmas decorations! My Dad's big project was finished this spring! We took our Garage and turned it into another living room, he started this project about 6-7 years ago and it's finally completed! So this is our first Christmas to be able to decorate and put up our tree in the "Big Room." My brother was being grumpy this weekend, but i finally got him convinced to get out of the house due to my case of cabin fever! And we went out to see Skyfall! and got to see our very own Wildcats win the Big XII championship!! then since my dad is a pastor we spend a lot of time at the church and being Christmas time, it was the season to do the "Hanging of the Greens" as we call it! so our youth group got to help out with decorating trees and hanging lights! I'm looking towards Christmas not only for the break but for my sister, Rachel who gets to come home from New Mexico! Since she moved in August we've only gotten to skype and phone calls so her coming home is very exciting! and for the most part everyone lives fairly close so she lives the farthest, except for when my Brother and his wife were living in Germany. And my sister and her family are getting to come! It's always hard having to trade off holidays! My sister Alicia has gotten into photography and so I think us girls are go out and do some photo shooting! so excited! even though it's ridiculously warm for December it's still perfect weather for Pictures! I haven't seen my nieces in several weeks now and so of course I'm always pumped to see them! I'm very, very fortunate to get to see them as much as i do especially since they live almost 5 hrs away! I am definitely already looking forward to this weekend, hopefully getting to spend some time with some very good friends!

Sounds like you have some wonderful family plans for Christmas. What church do you go to? My dad is a pastor, too. And I definitely know what it's like to have family spread out in many different places. My brother was living in China, the rest of my family in Australia, besides me and my brother who lived about an hour away from me when I was in Indiana. Now things are even more complicated with me in Kansas! But I am always thankful when I remember that no matter how far apart my family is, I know that they are all walking with the Lord!
